Strafford Historical Society
Just folks who love a town,
and cherish all the things now past:
memories that are fading fast,
and landmarks that have been torn down.
Just folks who love a place,
and will not allow that men forget
those of old who ran the race,
to whom this present owes a debt.
Just folks who gather here
in this room where youth were taught,
a place where they may still be near,
and never their names will be forgot.
Just folks, a little strange,
who give this project all their best,
and somehow manage to arrange
a voice for those now in their rest.
